BOOKKEEPING BASICS FOR AGRICULTURE BUSINESSES

Welcome!

The Agriculture Bookkeeping Webinar Series is a six-week training designed to help farmers and ranchers build strong, practical financial systems for their operations. This program combines self-paced, guided online modules with weekly live Q&A sessions led by experienced advisors, giving participants both flexibility and direct support.

Participants will learn how to set up and manage their books using QuickBooks, with a focus on real-world agricultural applications. Topics include building a chart of accounts tailored to farming or ranching, creating and managing asset lists, entering income and expenses, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts. The series also covers how to use financial data to support better business decisions.
